What we do

The Australian Hovercraft Association is the peak body for recreational hovercraft in Australia. It consists of affiliated state bodies and state and regional branches. Besides providing supporting administrative services for the branches, the Association holds a periodic National Rally where recreational hovercraft enthusiasts from all over Australia meet to enjoy a strong social and technical event.

The purpose of the Association is to:
(a)   promote the safe and responsible operation of Hovercraft within Australia;
(b)   provide a forum for the exchange of information related to development of Hovercraft; and,
(c)   promote Hovercraft related activities which are of benefit to its members.

The elements of the Association are:
The Queensland Branch also known as the Queensland Sporting Hovercraft Club,
The Victoria Branch also known as the Hovercraft Club of Victoria,
The Western Australia Branch also know as the Hovercraft Club of Western Australia,
The South Australia Branch also know as The Hovercraft Club of South Australia, and
The Regional Branch.

The Committee of the Association consists of delegates from each of the Branches and Affiliated Bodies and an Executive of President, Vice President , Secretary and Treasurer.
